With the release of Survey 2, NOVA Entertainment continues to hold onto the title of Australia’s highest reaching radio network, with a total network cume (broadcast and DAB+) for all people (6,348,000).*

We are also celebrating the biggest broadcast audience in the country for people 10+ (5,920,000) and 25-54 (3,103,000). Smooth FM 95.3 continues as Sydney’s equal #1FM station with a 11% share

Highlights from the Smooth FM network nationally:

  • Smooth FM 95.3 continues as Sydney’s equal #1FM station with a 11% share. It is also Sydney’s #1 station in Afternoons (11% share) and Weekends (11.9%), and the #1FM station for Mornings (13%) and Evenings (13.1%).

  • Smooth FM 91.5 secured Melbourne’s biggest station growth in both share (8.9%, up 1.4%) and FM cume (1.082m, up 35k).

  • The Smooth Network inclusive of smooth Relax, Vintage & 80’s reaches over 2,724,000 listeners nationally across FM and DAB+*.

  • Smooth FM is the #1 DAB station in the country, with the highest cumes in Brisbane (77k) and Perth (96k).

Highlights from the Nova network nationally:

  • Nova is Australia’s most listened-to metro network for people 10+ (4,141,400) and the key 25-54 demo (2,355,100).

  • We can also call dibs on the biggest metro Breakfast audience (5.30-9am) with a cume of 2,216,800 – 206k ahead of our closest competitor and the biggest metro Workday audience (9-4pm) with a cume of 2,391,20.

Highlights for our national shows (live from 2pm-10pm):

  • The Chrissie Swan Show is the most listened to Afternoon show (2-4pm) with a cume of 1,523,100.

  • Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel is Australia’s most listened to Drive show (4-6 pm) with a cume of 1,474,600 – 83k ahead of nearest competitor.

  • Ben, Liam & Belle is the #1 Late Drive Show (6-8pm) in both share (10%) and cume (826,000).

  • Nova Network now holds the biggest evening audience (7-10pm) with a cume of 616,600.

Highlights for Nova’s local teams in each market (live from 5.30am - 2pm):

  • Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie (5.30-9am) continues to climb as Sydney’s #2 Breakfast show (8.9%) – a new record for the team.

  • Nova 100’s new Breakfast show, Jase & Lauren, have hit the ground running, recording the market’s biggest share growth (8.3% - up 1.6) and adding 52k listeners.

  • Nova 93.7’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to dominate as Perth’s #1 Breakfast show (5.30am-9 am) in share (18.3%) and cume (424,000) – 125k ahead of the nearest competitor. Nova 93.7 remains Perth’s most listened-to station with a cume of 671,000 – up 30k.

  • Nova 106.9 is Brisbane’s most listened-to station with a cume of 680,000. Ash, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill is Brisbane’s most listened to Breakfast show with a cume of 395,000.

  • Nova 919’s Jodie & Hayesy is Adelaide’s most listened-to Breakfast Show (5.30-9am) with 188,000 listeners.

  • FIVEAA’s David & Will is Adelaide’s #1 AM Breakfast Show (5:30am-9am) with an 11.8% share.
