To celebrate the launch of Far Cry4 Nova created a ‘world first’ media campaign, turning their ad into an interactive online game. The execution was a virtual gaming simulation complete with graphics from FarCry4 which was seamlessly integrated into their digital advertising campaign. The Nova websites were transformed into an online gaming portal, showcasing the unique graphic environment of FarCry4, piquing listener interest with the opportunity to win $10,000 by experiencing the game for themselves.

The campaign transformed the Nova digital homepage network, with visitors experiencing a full-page takeover that emulated the FarCry4 game. They were invited to find “Nova Boy” hiding somewhere in the FarCry4 landscape for the opportunity to win. This gaming simulation utilised an OTP format supported by takeovers in multiple formats including streaming player, mobile and dedicated pages.
