Move over Tinder! Nova’s resident Love Gurus, Fitzy & Wippa took Tigerair’s campaign objectives to heart, taking off with 10 lucky singles for a round of live Plane Dating, 30,000 feet in the air.
In program, Fitzy & Wippa asked Sydney’s singles to register to win a seat on the flight, then played cupid, matching their Plane Dating couples and sharing their connections on air and online.
The flight took off towards Coffs Harbour with all the dating action being captured and shared with the audience on the ground, making Valentines Day a memorable one both for Tigerair and romantics everywhere.

A dedicated Tigerair interactive competition page showcased dating profiles, video content and photos on the love matches and plane dating action! This was supported with updates through our social channels.

In the lead up to Valentines Day, Fitzy & Wippa engaged and educated listeners on the campaign through an in show promotion. Post the flight they went the extra mile (high) by checking in with their new couples.

This unique mid-air dating event was complemented with a second date in Coffs Harbour upon arrival, seamlessly showcasing the Tigerair destination.
