NOVA Entertainment won 14 awards at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs), including Best Entertainment Presenter, Best On Air Team Country & Provincial and Best Music Presenter, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this evening.

Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty Drive show took out three ACRAS, winning Best Networked Program, Best Syndicated Australian Program and Kate Ritchie was awarded Best Entertainment Presenter.
Rabbit & Julie Goodwin were recognised as Best On Air Team Country & Provincial, Mel Doyle was awarded Best Music Presenter and Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny won Best Station Produced Comedy Segment and Best Radio Show Podcast.
On the news front, Ron Wilson from smoothfm won Best News Presenter for Metro FM while Caitlin Unger took out the top honour in the Provincial category again this year.
Nova’s Red Room Global Tour 2017 took out the top spot for Best Station Promotion and smoothfm’s Radiothon won Best Community Service Project.
From a commercial and digital perspective, NOVA Entertainment won Best Original Podcast – Unbranded for Modern Babies, Best Station Produced Commercial – Single for FIVEaa’s Anna Cook and Best Digital Radio Format with Coles Radio.
