Nathan, Nat & Shaun

Nathan, Nat & Shaun can be heard weekdays on Nova 106.9 Brisbane from 6am-9am. Listeners can also stream the shows live or catch up with the daily podcast on the Nova Player.

  • Nathan, Nat & Shaun hit the Perth radio air waves in 2009 and haven’t looked back since.

Nova 93.7 breakfast show is hosted by ex-Big Brother contestant Nathan Morris, Nat Locke who has had more reinventions than Madonna (including chiropractor) and settled on radio announcer, and the people’s champion, former Fremantle Dockers Shaun McManus.

From playing their very own game of Quoit Racket Stool Hole, stitching up newsreader Ellie and overly critiquing delivered sausage rolls to having their co-workers dance for the Premier, no day is EVER the same with Nathan, Nat & Shaun.

Nathan, Nat & Shaun can be heard from 6am to 9am on Nova 93.7 in Perth. Listeners can stream the show live or catch up with the daily podcast by downloading the Nova Player.

  • Nathan Morris is Nova 93.7’s very own ex-reality TV contestant, Gilmore Girls enthusiast, sausage roll connoisseur, fashion icon and all-round funny man!

Growing up in Kalgoorie, the frontier town of Western Australia, Nathan is often touted as his hometown’s greatest export behind the 28 tonnes of gold that the area produces every year.

At the age of 18, Nathan left behind his Kalgoorie roots for the bright lights of Perth where he studied graphic design and advertising at university which ‘naturally’ led him to a career promoting night clubs.

In 2002, Nathan caught the eye of Big Brother producers with his outgoing attitude and quirky style, and after spending 57 days in the house, was snapped up by Nova 93.7. He started at Nova on the back of a truck, playing a game that involved rubbish bins. It’s safe to say his career has pretty much gone downhill since then.

Now an ‘integral’ part of the breakfast show, Nathan’s greatest claims to fame are the fact that he holds the world record for the most snuggled bunnies in hammock (the previous world record holder was Cameron Diaz).

  • Nat Locke’s career path has been one of reinvention and exploration. Originally a qualified chiropractor, she spent several years in the healthcare field before deciding to pursue her passion for entertainment. After trying her hand at stand-up comedy, Natalie discovered her love for radio and began building a successful career in broadcasting. Her unique voice and ability to connect with audiences quickly set her apart.

In 2002, Nat joined Nova 93.7 as part of the station’s original breakfast team in Perth. Since 2009, she has been a co-host of Nathan, Nat & Shaun, one of Australia’s most successful FM breakfast programs. Known for her engaging presence and relatable approach, Nat has played a key role in the show’s enduring popularity. Over the years, she has become a trusted voice in Perth’s radio landscape and a favorite among listeners.

Beyond her radio work, Nat is passionate about travel and is a dedicated dog mum to her beloved Lewis. She is also an avid gin enthusiast, sharing her appreciation for the drink on her dedicated Instagram page. Additionally, Nat writes a weekly column for STM magazine, where she brings her perspective and humour to a broader audience. Her diverse interests and dedication to her craft have made her a respected and influential figure in the media industry.

  • Shaun McManus grew up in Willetton as part of the large and lively McManus family. Before making his mark in broadcasting, Shaun was an icon of Australian football, playing an impressive 228 games for the Fremantle Dockers. His decade-long AFL career included two finals appearances, 35 Brownlow votes, and the honor of captaining the Dockers in 2000, solidifying his legacy as a club legend.

After retiring in 2008, Shaun transitioned from the field to the airwaves, joining Nova 93.7’s beloved breakfast team alongside Nathan Morris and Nat Locke. While he initially assumed co-hosting would involve fewer tantrums than life at home with his wife Meegan and their four children, Shaun quickly realised Nathan and Nat required just as much wrangling. His quick wit, down-to-earth humour, and relatable charm have made him a staple of Perth’s mornings.

When he’s not entertaining listeners, Shaun stays active by running amok with his kids, indulging in his love of horse racing, and catching waves during family holidays down south. A natural entertainer and proud family man, Shaun brings his trademark energy and humour to everything he does, making him a true fan favourite both on and off the mic.
