Chrissie Swan

Chrissie is one of Australia’s most loved personalities. For  over 17 years she has graced Australian television screens and radio airwaves, showcasing her knack for the spoken word, her off the cuff antics and her honest, down to earth personality.

With extensive radio experience, having got her start on radio in 2003 on Hot 91.1’s breakfast show in Queensland, Chrissie is currently heard on Nova 100’s ACRA winning breakfast show Chrissie, Sam & Browny. She co-hosted breakfast on Mix 101.1 alongside Jane Hall for three years and was co-host of vega 91.5’s breakfast show (now smoothfm) from 2007 to 2009. 

A pioneer in the reality TV world, in 2003 Chrissie was the runner-up on Big Brother and in 2015 Chrissie spent six weeks in the South African jungle, placing third on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. In 2010 Chrissie joined Network Ten’s morning chat show, The Circle. The show received multiple Logie nominations, with Chrissie winning Most Popular Female Presenter and a nomination for the prestigious Gold Logie. In 2012 and 2013 Chrissie hosted Can of Worms on Network Ten and was co-host of Network Ten’s The Great Australian Spelling Bee in 2015 and 2016 and co-host of Long Lost Family in 2016.

Chrissie has written for Saturday Herald Sun’s Weekend, Fairfax’s Sunday Life and Good Weekend magazine. She has also published her first book in 2013 Is it just me? Confessions of an Over-Sharer.

Chrissie is an ambassador of Lortsmith Animal Hospital and is currently an Ambassador for Priceline.

Chrissie and her partner Chris have three children – Leo, Kit and Peggy.
