Jarrod Walsh


Jarrod is a music, sport, pop culture and gaming enthusiast takes over the Nova 919 studio from 1pm weekdays to help get Adelaide listeners through their workday. 

Jarrod Walsh’s radio career started when Nova 919 Adelaide launched in 2004. His first on-air role was hosting Nova 919’s night’s show which quickly transitioned into a workday gig hosting mornings.

In 2009 Jarrod moved to Melbourne to anchor Nova’s national drive show and then to co-host Nova 100’s nights show. 

In 2011 he returned to his hometown taking back the morning microphone on Nova 919 and added Assistant Program Director to his skills.

Jarrod is a familiar face in Adelaide appearing on Channel Ten’s The Project, Channel Nine’s Adelaide News and the Today Show. He’s also seen at sporting, charity and entertainment events across the state as host and emcee including; ground MC for Cricket Australia’s Adelaide Strikers and one day international matches, Adelaide United FC games, Adelaide 36ers Basketball games and Port Power AFL matches at Adelaide Oval.
