Kate Ritchie


Kate Ritchie, one of Australia's most recognised personalities, is joined by Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey as the Kate, Tim & Joel drive show, keeping listeners entertained on their drive home from 3pm to 6pm around the country.

After over 4,500 episodes and 20 years Kate is most renowned for playing Sally Fletcher in the iconic drama, Home & Away.

Throughout her extensive acting career Kate has appeared in numerous shows including Mr & Mrs Murder, It's A Date, Cops: LAC and earnt herself an AFI nomination for her depiction of Judy Kane in Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities. She has hosted live television events, narrated reality television and her voice over experience in the world of radio is long and varied.

Kate's work in the industry, which now spans over three decades, has also secured her two gold and three silver TV Week Logie Awards.

Prior to joining the Kate, Tim & Marty drive show, Kate had extensive radio experience and was no stranger to Nova listeners. A regular fill-in alongside Sam Mac for Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa, Ritchie was also one third of the Nova Sydney Breakfast team Kate, Merrick & Rosso throughout 2008 and 2009.

During their time together, Kate, Tim & Marty have won seven Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAS) - Best Networked Program in 2015, Best on-Air Team in 2016 and 2017, Best Syndicated Australian Program and Best Networked Show in 2018, with Kate also winning an ACRA for Best Entertainment Presenter that year, and in 2019 the team took out Best Networked Program and Best Syndicated Australian Program.

Kate is the face of Jockey Australia, an ambassador for QV Skin Care and is involved with a number of charities including The Australian Red Cross.

She has also released two children's books - I Just Couldn't Wait to Meet You and It's Not Scribble to Me.
