Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren Go Global with Ultimate Californian Adventure
Nova 100 Melbourne Breakfast hosts Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway are taking Jase & Lauren global, broadcasting from California as part of an exciting on-air promotion with Visit California and Qantas giving listeners the chance to win the ultimate California getaway.
The team will take the show on the road across some of California’s most iconic locations, sharing the adventure with listeners through live broadcasts and exclusive behind-the-scenes content direct from the Golden State - and giving listeners an insider’s look at the incredible prize up for grabs.
From the vibrant energy of Los Angeles to the stunning landscapes of Palm Springs and Joshua Tree, the team will showcase the very best of the Golden State, culminating in coverage from one of the world’s biggest sporting events, the Super Bowl in San Francisco.
Jase Hawkins said taking the show overseas is an exciting way to connect listeners with a once-in-a-lifetime prize: “We love finding new ways to surprise our audience and taking the show to California while giving away a trip like this is something really special. If that means enduring sunshine and cocktails, I’m happy to take one for the team.”
Lauren Phillips added that the broadcasts will bring listeners closer to the experience: “Listeners will feel like they’re right there with us, hearing about the places, the atmosphere and everything that makes California such an incredible destination.”
Clint Stanaway said the adventure is set to deliver a fantastic listening experience.
“It’s not every day you take a Melbourne breakfast show to California. We’re excited to share the adventure with our audience back home.”
The major prize, to be given away on Friday 13 February, includes four return flights from Melbourne to California and a $10,000 Qantas Hotels voucher.
“California’s diversity, abundance and playful lifestyle create something no other destination can match – it truly is the Ultimate Playground,” said Caroline Beteta, president & CEO of Visit California.
“With iconic global events on the horizon including back-to-back Super Bowls, the FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, there’s never been a better time to plan a trip to the Golden State. By tapping into the Nova listeners’ love of travel and sport, audiences can get a taste of the endless adventure that awaits them this year in California.
As California steps into a monumental year for tourism, Visit California and its tourism partners are working diligently to provide travellers with enhanced planning tools, resources and inspiration. The organisation has developed new guides and itineraries on VisitCalifornia.com, including city, hotel, and restaurant guides tied to major global events such as the Super Bowl, the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games.
