Jelly Roll Live In Nova’s Red Room Presented By Live Nation At The Espy

NOVA Entertainment today announced that GRAMMY-nominated international star Jelly Roll will make his Nova’s Red Room debut, performing at Melbourne’s iconic Gershwin Room at The Espy on Thursday, 30 October.

The genre-blending singer-songwriter will perform an intimate and live set in Nova’s Red Room for just 450 lucky attendees, who will score money-can’t-buy invites to one of the most exclusive music experiences in the country.

The performance will be hosted by Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips from Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren, Melbourne’s most listened to Breakfast show*.

Jelly Roll was part of the superstar lineup featured on Nova's Red Room Global Tour Powered by Expedia earlier this year, performing live at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Nova listeners fortunate enough to win a seat on the tour were treated to Jelly Roll’s electrifying live performance, showing why he's one of the hottest artists in the world right now and offering a taste of what’s to come in Nova’s Red Room.

Jelly Roll arrives in Australia in October for his first-ever headline tour, with his Down Under 2025 run visiting Brisbane (October 24), Melbourne (October 28 and 29) and Sydney (November 4). He is also set to headline the inaugural Strummingbird Festival across the Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, Perth and Townsville. Visit livenation.com.au for final tickets.

This marks a welcome return to The Espy for Nova’s Red Room. The historic Melbourne venue has long championed live music, having hosted OneRepublic Live in Nova’s Red Room in 2019 and G Flip Live in Nova’s Red Room in 2024, when the award-winning Australian artist returned to the same stage where they performed their first-ever gig.

Nova Network’s Group Programming Director, Brendan Taylor, said, “2025 has been an exciting year so far for Nova’s Red Room, with unforgettable performances including our very own Ricki-Lee, Daniel Seavey, Calum Hood, and the huge success of Nova’s Red Room Global Tour. To have Jelly Roll in Nova's Red Room on his debut tour of Australia is an incredible privilege. It's another reminder why this platform is so special; connecting fans with artists in ways you simply can’t experience anywhere else and building momentum for even more incredible moments ahead.”

Jelly Roll, born Jason DeFord, is redefining the modern entertainer. His 2024 album Beautifully Broken debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and Country Album charts and featured #1 hits like the GRAMMY-nominated “I Am Not Okay,” “Liar,” and “Heart of Stone”. Beyond music, Jelly visits correctional and rehab centres across the US and internationally to help bring music to some of the darkest corners and has donated a recording studio to the juvenile centre where he was once incarcerated.

Listeners can win their invites for this exclusive Nova’s Red Room event by registering via the Nova Player and listening to Nova’s Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, Ben, Liam & Belle or Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren.
