For our 23rd consecutive survey, NOVA Entertainment has held onto the title of Australia’s biggest metro radio audience (across broadcast, streaming, and DAB+), with over 6.7m P10+ consistently choosing to make our stations a staple in their daily routine.

BREAKING NEWS (AND RECORDS): Smooth FM 95.3 has broken the record for the BIGGEST AUDIENCE IN AUSTRALIAN RADIO HISTORY, continuing to hold the title of AUSTRALIA’S MOST POPULAR STATION (CUME 1.471m) and is SYDNEY’s #1 STATION (13.5%).

POWER COUPLE ALERT: Thanks to the combined power of Nova and Smooth FM, NOVA Entertainment once again has more listeners across the key markets of Melbourne and Sydney than any other network. In fact, across these two commercially critical markets, we are:

  • #1 CUME & share for P10+, with an audience of 4.72m (723,000 ahead of our nearest competitor).

  • #1 cume & share for P25-54, with an audience of 2.51m (381,000 ahead of our nearest competitor).

HERE’S WHAT ELSE STAYED THE SAME THIS SURVEY (because we’re nothing if not consistent):

  • Smooth 95.3’s More Music Breakfast Show with Bogart Torelli is SYDNEY’S #1 FM BREAKFAST SHOW, with a share of 12.2% and 700,000 listeners.

  • Not to be outdone in Melbourne, Smooth FM 91.5 is also holding firm as the #2FM STATION IN MELBOURNE, with a 10.3% share and an audience of 1.12m.

  • Smooth Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth continue to be the #1 DAB NETWORK in each market.

  • Coles Radio remains the country’s #1 DAB+ NETWORK.

  • Nova continues to be AUSTRALIA’S #1 FM NETWORK for both 10+ (Share: 10.1%, CUME: 4.33m) and 25-54 (Share: 13.5%, CUME: 2.44m).

  • Nova is still home to AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST BREAKFAST: 2.43m Australians choose to start their day with Nova. That’s nearly 300,000 more breakfast listeners than our nearest competitor.

  • Nova’s national drive show, Fitzy, Wippa & Kate, continues its reign as AUSTRALIA’S #1 DRIVE SHOW (4pm-6pm) with a share of 10.7% and 1.4 million listeners.

  • Nova 100’s Jase, Lauren & Clint held onto the top sport as MELBOURNE’S #1 BREAKFAST SHOW, with a share of 10.8% and 736,000 loyal listeners.

  • Nova 969’s Ricki-Lee and Tim is once again SYDNEY’S#2 MOST POPULAR FM BREAKFAST SHOW.

  • Nova 91.9 continues to increase its lead as ADELAIDE’S MOST POPULAR STATION (CUME: 385,000), with Jodie & Hayesy maintaining the title of ADELAIDE’S MOST POPULAR BREAKFAST SHOW (CUME: 201,000).

  • Nova 93.7 extends its lead as PERTH’S #1 STATION (Share: 17.6%, CUME: 667,000), with Nathan, Nat & Shaun securing their 56th survey as PERTH’S #1 BREAKFAST SHOW (Share: 17.5%, CUME: 420,000).

  • The Joel Creasey Show is AUSTRALIA’S MOST POPULAR LUNCHTIME SHOW, growing share (9.7%) and CUME (792,000).

  • The Chrissie Swan Show held onto the title of AUSTRALIA’S MOST POPULAR AFTERNOON SHOW (CUME 1.28m).
