SURVEY TWO HAS LANDED: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR PERFORMANCE

  • NOVA Entertainment retains the title of Australia’s biggest metro radio audience (across broadcast, streaming, and DAB+), with over 6.5M people consistently choosing to make our stations a staple in their daily routine.

  • We now officially have the largest streaming audience of any major network, with over 1.36m Australians streaming our stations (up 4%).

  • Need to get the attention of audiences across Melbourne and Sydney? You need NOVA. The killer combination of Nova and Smooth FM means we now have more combined listeners across these two key markets than any other network (P10+: 4.18M, P25-54: 2.25M).

  • This survey, we officially surpassed 1 million DAB+ listeners for the first time. Not to brag, but that means we’re growing at twice the rate of our competitors.

  • Smooth 95.3 continues to dominate as Sydney’s #1 FM Station, with a share of 11.8% and the country’s biggest FM audience – 1.305m people together in music. You read that right, Smooth FM is the biggest FM station in the country.

From 2pm – 10pm every weekday, it’s nothing but Nova.

  • Starting with The Chrissie Swan Show (#1 in the 2–4pm slot), followed by Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel (holding strong as the country’s #1 Drive show – again ). Then it’s into Late Drive with Ben Liam & Belle (# 1 in the 6-8pm slot) and rounding out with Smallzy’s Surgery (most listened-to 8-10pm).

  • In only their second survey, Nova 106.9’s Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne have taken out Brisbane’s #1 Breakfast Show with a share of 13.6% (up 1.5%). They sure know how to make an entrance, adding 13,000 listeners to their audience (423k) to become the market’s most popular breakfast show, at home on Brisbane’s most listened-to station (total audience: 702k).

  • Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren continue as Melbourne’s most popular Breakfast Show with an audience of 662k, and only 0.6% off the #1 share spot.

  • Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie has scored Sydney’s second biggest breakfast audience (642k) – putting them only 12k off the pace of the #1 spot.

  • Nova 93.7 continues its reign as Perth’s favourite station, growing share to 17% to solidify its #1 spot. Nathan, Nat & Shaun nearly broke their own record with a 21.7% share, up 1.9% on Survey 1, keeping them comfy in the #1 FM Breakfast spot (total audience: 433k).

  • Nova 919’s Jodie & Hayesy remain Adelaide’s most popular Breakfast Show, with 220k listeners (up 19k on Survey 1).

  • More people choose to wake up with Nova than any other network, with over 2.38m Australians starting their day with our stations around the country (520k ahead of our nearest competitor).

  • Coles Radio extends its lead as the nation’s #1 DAB+ NETWORK with a metro audience of 365k (up 34k).

  • Our other DAB+ stations are also doing their bit, with Smooth FM reclaiming its title as the most listened to DAB+ station in Brisbane (75k), Adelaide (46k) and Perth (94k), while Sky Radio (77k) and Nova Nation (109k) continue to strengthen our DAB+ audience on the Eastern Seaboard.
