For our 24th consecutive survey, NOVA Entertainment has held onto the title of Australia’s biggest metro radio audience (across broadcast, streaming, and DAB+), with over 6.5m P10+ consistently choosing to make our stations a staple in their daily routine.

BREAKING NEWS (AND RECORDS): Smooth FM 95.3 has continues to hold the title of AUSTRALIA’S MOST POPULAR STATION (CUME 1.45m) and is SYDNEY’s #1 STATION (13.2%) for SEVEN CONSECUTIVE SURVEYS.

POWER COUPLE ALERT: Thanks to the combined power of Nova and Smooth FM, NOVA Entertainment once again has more listeners across the key markets of Melbourne and Sydney than any other network. In fact, across these two commercially critical markets, we are:

  • #1 CUME & share for P10+, with an audience of 4.53m (576,000 ahead of our nearest competitor).

  • #1 CUME & share for P25-54, with an audience of 2.43m (375,000 ahead of our nearest competitor).

HERE’S WHAT ELSE STAYED THE SAME THIS SURVEY (because we’re nothing if not consistent):

  • Not to be outdone in Melbourne, Smooth FM 91.5 is also holding firm as the #2FM STATION IN MELBOURNE, with a 10.4% share (0.1% behind our closest competitor, Gold).

  • Smooth Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth continue to be the #1 DAB NETWORK in each market.

  • Coles Radio remains the country’s #1 DAB+ NETWORK.

  • Nova continues to be AUSTRALIA’S MOST POPULAR NETWORK for both 10+ (CUME: 4.13m) and 25-54 (CUME: 2.38m).

  • Nova is still home to AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST BREAKFAST: 2.27m Australians choose to start their day with Nova. That’s 200,000+ more breakfast listeners than our nearest competitor.

  • Nova’s national drive show, Fitzy, Wippa & Kate, continues its reign as AUSTRALIA’S #1 DRIVE SHOW (4pm-6pm) with a share of 10.8% and 1.32 million listeners.
