Sarah Harris joins Ricki-Lee & Tim on Nova 96.9 Breakfast

NOVA Entertainment today announced that news journalist and television presenter Sarah Harris will join Nova 96.9’s new Sydney Breakfast show, Ricki-Lee & Tim as the show’s resident newsreader.

The popular Sydney-born presenter completes the line-up for the show’s launch on Monday, February 9, where she will join chart-topping recording artist and television presenter Ricki-Lee and award-winning radio broadcaster, Tim Blackwell.

Speaking about her new role on Nova 96.9’s Sydney Breakfast show, Sarah said, "This is a massive pinch me moment! There’s something hugely intimate and authentic about radio and I’m so pumped to be waking up with Ricki-Lee and Tim. I’ve been in the TV news game my whole career and I love that I’m getting the chance to deliver it on Nova 96.9…and without spending an hour in the hair and makeup chair!

“I’ve been a genuine fan of Ricki-Lee and Tim for ages. Tim’s the ultimate music expert who knows all the cool bands and Ricki-Lee is our down-to-earth pop diva that every girl wants to be best friends with – just don’t take her on in a game of Quick Draw! They’re both absolute stars at what they do and have such a great energy together. I’m really excited to join them and be part of a team of Sydneysiders who truly love this city.”

A highly respected and experienced journalist, Sarah Harris has enjoyed a media career spanning more than 25 years across the Seven, Nine and Ten networks as both a news reporter and television presenter. Her most recent roles include co-hosting Studio 10, before joining The Project as co-host in 2023.

Starting Monday, February 9, Ricki-Lee & Tim on Nova 96.9 Sydney can be heard weekdays from 6am-9am. National listeners can also tune into the show across the Nova Network every weekday from 6pm-7pm.

Also launching on February 9 is Nova’s new national Drive show, Fitzy, Wippa & Kate which can be heard weekdays from 4pm-6pm across Australia.
